The present situation

Over two million people in India currently live with cancer, and more than a million new cases are registered every year. While select urban areas in India have some of the finest clinicians and most advanced infrastructure in the world, the larger picture tells a different story.

How we do what we do

Over two million people in India currently live with cancer, and more than a million new cases are registered every year. While select urban areas in India have some of the finest clinicians and most advanced infrastructure in the world, the larger picture tells a different story.

A person’s well-being is composed of three broad aspects:

Physiological well-being

This means the physical health of an individual and is defined by the absence of disease.

Emotional well-being

The mental health of an individual that determines how we think, feel and respond to stressful situations.

Social well-being

This refers to the health of our interpersonal relationships, our sense of community and belonging and how we relate to the people around us.

Most healthcare providers in India are single-mindedly focused on the physiological well-being of patients. While this is no small or simple undertaking, it is a process that tends to pull focus away from a whole person and frame treatment only around the physiological ramifications of cancer.

Cancer impacts all aspects of our lives. If you or someone you love is coping with a cancer diagnosis, you may find that you need support for aspects other than clinical treatment. For example, you may need:

Preparation for how treatment may affect you and your family

Practical advice: like planning your finances, or legal guidance

A safe place where you can meet and learn from others going through the same difficult journey

Emotional support to protect yourself from caregiver burnout

Help in talking to children about cancer

At Solis Health, we aim to fill that critical gap.
We are with you, all the way through.

We offer compassionate and comprehensive non-clinical support to every person touched by cancer. With our services we hope to

Improve your holistic health: i.e., your physical, emotional, and social well-being

Empower you with the information and tools you need to chart your personal journey

Create an inclusive, family-centric environment for patients and their loved ones

Offer dignity, comfort, and compassionate support to patients and caregivers.

We have designed our array of support and resources with a few guiding principles in mind:

Person-centricity

You may be a caregiver, a patient, or an advocate for better cancer care — at the core of everything we do, it is YOU. Each of our programs and services has been developed keeping you in mind. You have the option of choosing as many of our offerings and services as you like – whatever suits your needs at a specific moment in time.

Personalised Attention

Understanding your unique circumstance and the needs of your family is central to what we do. In doing so, we are able to guide you to the support that will help you the most.

Most of all, we wish to welcome in our midst anybody who has been touched by cancer, with open arms, hope, and tenderness.

We are with you, all the way through.
